Moscow-born, Alaska-bred and New York-based Olga Bell [ tickets ] uses her family name as a stage moniker, keeping the focus on the collective sound rather than her ethereal voice. The sweet-sounding songstress--alongside bandmates Jason Nazary and Gunnar Olsen--adds samples, keyboards, clapping and other miscellaneous noises to her project with the help of her laptop, creating electro-infused pop music accented with her Bjork-like vocals.

The Brooklyn band revealed its latest work, the self-released and simply titled "Bell" EP, in 2008, garnering plenty of buzz on music blogs and around the New York indie-rock club scene ever since.
