School of Seven Bells

Brooklyn-based Ben Curtis, former guitarist for Secret Machines, created his own electro-pop outfit, School of Seven Bells [ tickets ], in 2007. Naming the group after an imaginary San Francisco pickpocket school, Curtis drafted identical twin sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza to accompany him vocally.

Now that they're an established act, the trio is ready to release its debut album, "Alpinisms," in late February, followed by a European tour that's currently scheduled through May.
