Langhorne Slim: Exclusive Video Performance At LiveDaily Sessions

Listen now:

Born Sean Scolnick in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, Langhorne Slim coupled his hometown's name with his lanky build to create his catchy stage moniker. Since graduating from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, Slim has focused on his career as a folk singer/songwriter, putting in tour time with the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, Cake and The Violent Femmes, among others, and landing a slot at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival.

Backed by the War Eagles--Paul Defiglia on bass and Malachi DeLorenzo on drums--Langhorne Slim signed with Kemado Records and released his full-length, self-titled debut in late April. The trio is currently in the middle of an extensive North American tour that wraps in mid-September with a two-night set at the Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion in Bristol, Tennessee.
