INXS has pulled more new concert dates out of the bag as the band continues to celebrate its rebirth with new lead singer J.D. Fortune.
The newly announced second North American leg adds almost a full month of new shows to INXS's itinerary. The band will pick up immediately where the first leg leaves off, kicking off the next round of dates June 2 in Kelowna, British Columbia.
After that show, the group will steer itself back into the U.S. for three weeks in the western half of the country before winding down June 29 in Dallas.
INXS, which had been mostly on hiatus since the 1997 death of founding lead singer Michael Hutchence, chose Nova Scotia native Fortune last year out of thousands of applicants on the TV reality show "Rock Star: INXS" to replace the late frontman.
INXS released "Switch," its first studio album since 1997--and first featuring Fortune on vocals--last December.
Last month, CBS announced the second round of "Rock Star" with the would-be supergroup Supernova--Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted and ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke--taking the INXS role and seeking a frontman.
