Tickets sold quickly Friday (4/7) for Madonna 's planned "Confessions Tour" stops in Fresno, CA, and Chicago, which has led to a second date in each market.
The newly announced Fresno appearance is set for June 6, and the new Chicago show is scheduled for June 15. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
On-sales get underway for many other stops on Madonna's tour in the coming days; details are in the itinerary below.
The veteran performer kicks things off May 21 in the Los Angeles area and is so far scheduled to make stops at arenas in about a dozen cities.
Longtime Madonna collaborator Jamie King will direct the "Confessions Tour," and Stuart Price will again be on board as musical director, according to a press release. Arianne Phillips and Jean Paul Gaultier, long-standing members of Madonna's creative team, will respectively oversee and design costumes for the tour.
As previously reported, Madonna will warm up for her headlining trek with an April 30 set at this year's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
Released last November, "Confessions on a Dance Floor" debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold more than 1.3 million copies in the US to date, according to Warner Bros. Records. Sales have been fueled in part by the hit single "Sorry."
