Currently on tour in Europe, Depeche Mode returns to North America this spring for another round of concerts that support last year's "Playing the Angel."
So far, the group has a dozen dates on its roster, beginning with a trio of late-April shows that includes a performance at the annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Tickets for a number of concerts will hit the box office on Friday (3/3) and Saturday (3/4). Details are included below.
Late last fall, Depeche Mode launched its "Playing the Angel" tour with a US leg that kicked off in early November and wrapped up just over a month later.
Last October, the group offered up "Playing the Angel," its 11th album overall, and first new studio set since 2001's "Exciter." The new disc debuted at No. 7 on The Billboard 200 album chart, and has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide, according to a press release.
"Playing the Angel" features the cuts "Precious" and latest single "Suffer Well." A CD-single version of the latter cut is due in stores March 20.
Depeche Mode recently filmed a music video for "Suffer Well" with longtime collaborator Anton Corbijn. The group's website features dozens of still images from the shoot, and will soon host a making-of featurette about the clip.
