The Steve Miller Band is packing up its bag of classic-rock hits for a new round of concerts, most of which will take place during the warm-weather months.
The group has laid out plans for July and August shows in a dozen cities, and also has a handful of shows lined up during the months before and after the summer trek. Details are included below.
The Steve Miller Band's most recent release is 2003's "Young Hearts--Complete Greatest Hits." The set, which traces the group's 35-year affiliation with Capitol Records, includes the No. 1 singles "The Joker," "Rockin' Me" and "Abracadabra," as well as hits such as "Take the Money and Run," "Space Cowboy," "Fly Like an Eagle," "Jungle Love," "Jet Airliner" and "Livin' in the USA."
Details about the set--including the complete, 22-song tracklist--are posted at Miller's website.
Miller and company haven't released a collection of new material since 1993's "Wide River."
