
Funk legends Earth, Wind & Fire , fresh off the release of their latest album, "Illumination," have lined up a late-winter/early spring run of North American shows.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will kick things off Feb. 25 in Albuquerque, NM. The band spent part of January playing to large audiences in Japan; Earth, Wind & Fire's overseas itinerary is available at its website.
"Illumination," which hit stores in September, represents a continuation of the band's revitalization following 2003's "The Promise." The new disc features an large array of guest performers, including Outkast's Big Boi and The Black Eyed Peas' Will.I.Am.
"Illumination" entered The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 32 last year, the highest debut position in the group's history.
Earth, Wind & Fire formed in 1969, and has sold more than 30 million albums in the US, according to Clear Channel Entertainment. The group has won eight Grammys, and was also the recipient of a BET Lifetime Achievement Award.
