Husband-and-wife team Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will head out this spring on their first co-headlining trek since their 2000 "Soul2Soul" tour.
The outing, dubbed "Soul2Soul II," is set to launch April 21 in Columbus, OH, and is expected to visit more than 70 cities. Hill hasn't toured since the 2000 co-bill with McGraw, which barely edged out the Dixie Chicks as the top-grossing country tour of that year.
Organizers have announced cities and venues for seven of the tour's stops, as well as a long list of additional markets for which additional information is pending. Details are in the itinerary below.
"Along with some never before seen musical performances and what insiders are calling one of the most unique set designs ever made, the latest in visual technology and lighting design, 'Soul2Soul II' tour will include many of Tim and Faith's biggest hits and duets," reads a press release announcing the tour, which is being presented by The Hershey Company.
Tickets will begin to roll out to the general market on Feb. 11, but fan club pre-sale tickets will be available on Feb. 6. More information is available at www.faithhill.com and www.timmcgraw.com.
Pre-sale tickets also will be sold beginning Feb. 6 by tour media partner AOL, which is offering the ducats through the AOL Tickets site.
Hill is backing her 2005 release "Fireflies," which last August entered The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 1. The 14-track set spawned the hit single "Mississippi Girl."
McGraw, a mainstay on the tour circuit who is also one of the concert industry's top draws, released his latest album, "Live Like You Were Dying," in 2004.
