Dilated Peoples ready new album and tour
Emcees Evidence and Rakaa, and DJ Babu--a.k.a. Dilated Peoples --drop their next album next month, and begin working the road as soon as the set hits stores.
Titled "20/20," the trio's latest disc was originally due out Jan. 24, but was pushed back to Feb. 21. The album features the new single "Back Again," which recently landed at radio stations.
To help launch the set, Dilated Peoples will perform "Back Again" on the Feb. 20 episode of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and on the Feb. 28 episode of NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly."
The day after their appearance on Kimmel's show, Dilated Peoples launch their tour behind "20/20" with a performance at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA. Subsequent dates throughout the US stretch through the end of March. The schedule also includes a lone stop in Canada.
