Fall Out Boy storms the U.S. this spring

Fall Out Boy , who last month announced plans to mount an inaugural headlining tour this year, have unveiled the first batch of dates for the trek.

Dubbed the "Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour," the outing is expected to run from mid March through mid-May. So far, the band has locked down eight stops that are scattered across March, April and May. Details are included below.

More dates will be "added daily," according to the band's website.

As previously reported, the "Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour" will also feature All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights and From First to Last.

Included in the itinerary is a May 6 performance in East Rutherford, NJ, as part of The Bamboozle festival. The two-day event will also feature additional artists, including Taking Back Sunday, Thursday and Say Anything. More information is available at the festival's website.

Fall Out Boy is backing its latest album, "From Under the Cork Tree," which hit stores in May. The set--which features the hits "Sugar, We're Going Down" and "Dance, Dance"--has sold more than a million copies, according to Island Records.

Last month, the group picked up a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The awards will be handed out during a Feb. 8 ceremony at The Staples Center in Los Angeles that will air live on CBS.

Later this month, meanwhile, Fall Out Boy launches the European leg of its current tour, details for which are posted at the group's website.
