Keith Urban follows holiday break with more touring

Country hit-maker Keith Urban , who recently finished up his 2005 tour, won't have long to recharge his batteries before it's time to get back out on the road.

Urban's 2006 tour schedule gets underway in late January with an appearance at a Florida radio-station festival, and subsequent shows are stacked up throughout February. The country singer has also nailed down a handful of shows on next summer's fair circuit. Details are included below.

Urban continues to back his 2004 album, "Be Here," which hit triple-platinum status in September, marking U.S. shipment of 3 million copies. Also in September, Urban offered up "Livin' Right Now," a concert DVD that captures his 2004 two-night stand at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theater. The disc also features behind-the-scenes footage, including Urban's pre-show soundcheck and an interview with the singer.

In November, Urban scored his second consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year award at the annual CMA Awards ceremony, and landed his first Entertainer of the Year trophy; in 2001, he picked up the CMA Horizon Award, and is now the only country artist in CMA Awards history to score wins in all three of the aforementioned categories.

Urban followed his CMA wins by taking home the Country Radio Artist of the Year Radio trophy at last week's Radio Music Awards in Las Vegas.
