Eminem 's best-of set "Curtain Call: The Hits" debuts atop The Billboard 200 album chart, with more than 440,000 copies sold during its first week in stores.
The album--which features three new tracks--marks the rapper's fourth consecutive No. 1 LP.
Claiming the No. 2 slot during its first week in stores is Lil Wayne 's "The Carter II," just ahead of Korn's "See You on the Other Side."
Rounding out the Top 5 are the hits compilation "NOW! That's What I Call Music, Vol. 20," and Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts."
Mariah Carey , The Bangles, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, The Pussycat Dolls, Sugarland, 3 Doors Down and 311 are scheduled to perform on this year's "Dick Clark 's New Year's Rockin' Eve," which rings in the New Year on ABC-TV.
As previously reported, Clark, who suffered a stroke in early December of last year and missed hosting the 2004 edition of the show, plans to return to New York's Times Square this year to co-host the telecast with Ryan Seacrest.
