Bow Wow, Omarion, others team for holiday tour

Bow Wow , Omarion , Ciara , Marques Houston and Chris Brown will join forces later this month for a brief holiday outing.

The collective of hip-hop and R&B artists is due to launch the eight-date run Dec. 22 in the Chicago area and, following a Dec. 23 show in Detroit, will tear through the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions before wrapping things up in Atlanta on New Year's Day. Details are included below.

Bow Wow's latest album, the Jermaine Dupri-produced set "Wanted," surfaced in August. On Tuesday (12/13), the teen rapper will issue "Wanted (Reloaded).” Billed as "The Ultimate Collector's Edition," the repackaged set will include a DualDisc DVD that will feature a mini-movie dubbed "Big Dreams," as well as music videos for "Fresh Azmiz," "Caviar" (featuring Snoop Dogg) and "Like You" (featuring Ciara), according to Bow Wow's website.

Former B2K member Omarion is backing his solo debut, this year's "O." The set was recently nominated for a Grammy in the Best Contemporary R&B Album category.

Ciara's debut set, "Goodies," hit stores in September of last year, and has shipped more than 2 million copies in the U.S., according to her website. The DVD "Goodies: The Videos and More" followed in July.

Marques Houston, who got his start in the early '90s as a member of Immature, offered up his sophomore set, "Naked," in May.

Sixteen-year-old singer Chris Brown dropped his self-titled debut late last month.
