Irish-tinged punk-rockers Flogging Molly will pull unusual double duty on their upcoming tour, with the band playing two shows on consecutive nights in most cities, one show for an all ages crowd and one 21-and-over.
The Los Angeles-based band's 21+ Green 17 tour, sponsored by Guinness, will cover 17 cities, while the all-ages Black 17 tour will run concurrently, often in the same venue, on consecutive nights in the same cities. Only a few dates will fail to include either a matching all-ages or age-limited show.
The tour kicks off Feb. 3 with an all-ages show in Madison, WI. Pre-sale tickets for most shows are available at the band's website. Support bands will be announced at a later date.
Flogging Molly hit 25 cities earlier this year on a previous Guinness Green 17 tour, but the all-ages Black 17 angle is new for 2006.
The band's most recent studio album was 2004's "Within a Mile of Home."
