Chicago rockers Fall Out Boy , who earlier this year headed up the multi-act Nintendo Fusion Tour, have announced plans for a 2006 headlining run on the North American arena circuit.
The group has rolled out a preliminary list of cities where the tour will touch down (shown below), but dates and venues have not yet been confirmed. All-American Rejects , Hawthorne Heights , From First to Last and a yet-to-be-named act will occupy the tour's opening slots, according to a press release.
This month, Fall Out Boy will perform at numerous holiday-themed radio-station festivals throughout the country. Details are shown below.
The group's imminent plans also include a Dec. 4 appearance on VH1's "Big in '05" and a Dec. 9 appearance on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
The New Year begins with a European trek that is currently slated to kick off in late January and run until at least early February. More information is posted at the band's website.
Fall Out Boy is backing its latest album, "From Under the Cork Tree," which hit stores in May. The set--which features the hits "Sugar, We're Going Down" and "Dance, Dance"--has sold more than a million copies, according to Island Records.
