Punk-pop stalwarts Lee Than Jake have announced a full tour schedule for the first three months of next year, signaling the band's emergence from a period of relative inactivity.
The group will kick off its 2006 tour Jan. 18 in Atlanta, then set out on an extensive trek that will see it travel to almost 40 cities before ending up back in its home state of Florida in early March.
Discounted pre-sale tickets for all the upcoming shows can be purchased through the band's website.
Less Than Jake fine-tuned material for its next studio album during a brief tour of the West Coast in September, playing seven shows before entering the studio to record the album, which currently has no title and no release date.
The group recorded the new set with producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Hoobastank,) who last worked with the group on 1998's "Hello Rockview."
The band's last studio album was 2003's "Anthem." A collection of unreleased Less Than Jake material, "B is for B-Sides," hit stores last year.
