Kenny Chesney 's "The Road and the Radio" debuts atop the latest U.S. album chart, marking his second No. 1 album this year.
Billboard reports that the new Chesney set sold 470,000 copies during its first week out. He scored another No. 1 earlier this year with ""Be As You Are: Songs From an Old Blue Chair."
The soundtrack to "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," a film loosely based on rapper 50 Cent 's life, debuts at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart. The hits compilation "NOW That's What I Call Music, Vo. 20," which topped last week's chart, falls to No. 3.
Neil Diamond 's "12 Songs" debuts at No. 4, while Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" falls two rungs to No. 5.
The release of OutKast 's "Idlewild" album, the soundtrack to a film of the same name, has been pushed back. Though it was initially expected in stores by December, it will now be under wraps until sometime in 2006. The "Idlewild" film, originally due for release in early 2006, has been pushed back as well.
Mexican pop star Juan Gabriel , who broke his wrist and suffered a concussion in a fall from the stage last Sunday (11/13) in Houston, has postponed the remaining shows on his tour, which was scheduled to conclude Nov. 20. Gabriel is expected to reschedule the missed dates, and to perform a make-up show in Houston.
