Bruce Springsteen gig postponed in hurricane fallout

Due to public safety concerns in the wake of Hurricane Wilma, Bruce Springsteen 's scheduled Thursday night (11/3) performance in Sunrise, FL, has been moved to Nov. 19 at Hollywood, FL's Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena, according to promoters.

In a press release issued Wednesday (11/2), Fantasma Productions said the City of Sunrise will not allow the concert to take place at BankAtlantic Center because the hurricane caused widespread power outages, including traffic lights, making travel in the area "nearly impossible."

According to Fantasma, those holding tickets for the Nov. 3 show will be able to exchange them at their point-of-purchase for tickets to the new show beginning Friday (11/4) at 5 p.m. ET until Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. ET. At 5 p.m. ET on Nov. 8, the remaining unsold tickets will go on sale.

As previously reported, Wednesday night's (11/2) planned Depeche Mode concert at BankAtlantic Center was canceled due to post-hurricane safety issues.
