About a month after he announced plans to launch a tour with fellow country act Tracy Lawrence , country superstar George Strait has unveiled the trek's itinerary.
The schedule, which is shown below, includes more than 20 stops between January and June. Tickets for the tour's stop in Las Vegas went on sale earlier this month, and ticket on-sale information for other shows will be announced "soon," according to Strait's publicist.
As has been the case in recent years, Strait's upcoming outing will visit large arenas, which will be set up in center-stage configurations.
Strait has logged 51 No. 1 hits over the course of his career, during which he's accumulated 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, 15 Country Music Association Awards, and four American Music Awards, according to his publicist. He's released 32 albums over his 24-year career, all of which have been certified gold or platinum.
"Somewhere Down in Texas," Strait's latest album, debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart earlier this year.
Tracy Lawrence will release "Then & Now: The Hits Collection," an album that features newly recorded versions of 15 of his No. 1 country-chart singles, plus two new tracks, on Oct. 18.
Joining Strait and Lawrence on the tour will be CMA Horizon Award nominee Miranda Lambert , whose first album, "Kerosene," debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart in March.
