Big Head Todd & The Monsters plot winter tour

Currently catching their breath after finishing up a summer tour last month, Big Head Todd & The Monsters will head back out early next year for a new round of U.S. shows.

So far, the bulk of the group's schedule begins in mid-January and stretches into late February. Two year-end shows in Alaska are also set--including a New Year's Eve performance in Anchorage--as well as a one-off March date in Atlanta. Details are shown below.

Also on tap is the group's second-annual Big Caribbean Cruise, a fan-oriented excursion that will feature a meet and greet with the group and a private concert for passengers. More information is available at the Big Caribbean Cruise website.

Big Head Todd & The Monsters' most recent studio set is "Crimes of Passion," which surfaced last February. That album followed 2003's "Riviera," which marked the group's first new studio release in five years.

In August of 2004, the band issued "Big Head Todd & The Monsters Live at the Fillmore," recorded during the group's March 19 and 20, 2004 shows at the famous San Francisco venue.

Back in July, the group released exclusively via Apple's iTunes Music Store the cut "Blue Sky," which was billed as "the theme song of the Space Shuttle's much-anticipated return flight," according to a press release issued at the time.
