Keith Urban pumps up tour schedule

A slew of new shows have surfaced for country singer Keith Urban 's late-2005 run through North America.

Urban has added a handful of November stops to his itinerary, and has stacked up a number of new December concerts, most of which are set in the West. Details about the tour, which kicks off Nov. 3 in Cleveland, are included below.

The North American outing will follow Urban's October swing through Europe, which gets underway Wednesday (10/12). More information about that trek is posted at Urban's website.

Urban continues to showcase his most recent release, "Be Here," which last month was certified triple platinum, marking U.S. shipment of 3 million copies.

Also last month, Urban offered up "Livin' Right Now," a concert DVD that captures his 2004 two-night stand at Los Angeles' Wiltern Theater. Released on Sept. 27, the DVD also features behind-the-scenes footage, including Urban's pre-show soundcheck and an interview with the singer.

On Nov. 15, Urban will take time out from his tour schedule to attend the 39th annual CMA Awards ceremony at New York City's Madison Square Garden. He's nominated for four trophies: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year ("Be Here") and Music Video of the Year ("Days Go By"). The ceremony will air live on CBS.
