Rockers Korn [ tickets ], who previously recorded for Epic Records, have signed a joint-venture contract with EMI Music that covers the band's overall career, including touring, merchandising and publishing.

The deal includes a recording contract with EMI's Virgin Records.

"This new partnership with Korn more closely aligns the interests of Korn with those of EMI and Virgin," said a press release issued by Virgin. "It offers the members of Korn a unique relationship with their record company, and it allows EMI to work more closely with the artists and their management on all aspects of their career and their brand."

The new lead singer of INXS [ tickets ] will be revealed Sept. 20, during the finale of the CBS-TV series "Rock Star: INXS." Four vocalists are currently in the running.

Once named, the new INXS member will enter the studio to begin work on a new album titled "Switch," the band's first since the death of frontman Michael Hutchence in 1997. A tour will follow, according to Epic Records.

Bo Bice [ tickets ], who left the American Idols Live tour nearly three weeks ago to undergo emergency intestinal surgery, returned to the stage Saturday night (9/10) when the tour touched down for its finale at Syracuse, NY's Onondaga County War Memorial.

All of the Syracuse show's ticket proceeds were earmarked for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Katrina.
