More shows have surfaced for the Eagles ' latest road trip, which now stretches into November.
New to the band's schedule since last check are October stops in Las Vegas and Sacramento, as well as in Los Angeles and Anaheim, CA, where the group is already scheduled to play three nights each this month. Meanwhile, a second show in the Phoenix area--where the band will first perform in mid-October--is now scheduled for early November, as is the tour's first visit to San Diego. Details are included below.
Tickets for most shows are on sale now, and the Eagles are also offering VIP packages via ILoveAllAccess.com a premium-ticket service that was rolled out last year. More information is posted at ILoveAllAccess.com.
The group recently wrapped up a round of August shows in California and Nevada, and is scheduled to return to the road beginning with a Friday (9/9) concert in Fresno, CA.
In addition to their U.S. dates, the Eagles are slated to play two early November concerts in Mexico. Details are posted at the group's website.
In June, the Eagles dropped a DVD titled "Farewell 1 Tour - Live from Melbourne," which captures the group's 2004 performance in Melbourne, Australia. The two-disc set clocks in at more than two-and-a-half hours, and, in addition to live footage, also includes band-member interviews.
Earlier this year, the Eagles issued "Eagles Box," a limited-edition box set that includes all seven albums that the group released between 1972 and 1980. Also included is a bonus CD-single featuring the tracks "Please Come Home for Christmas" and "Funky New Year."
The Eagles' "Greatest Hits 1971-1975," which has sold over 28 million copies, is the top-selling album of all time in the U.S. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
