
New York's The Bravery has booked an extensive North American tour to push its self-titled debut album and its latest single, "Unconditional."
The new wave pop band--singer/guitarist Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, bassist Mike H., keyboardist John Conway and drummer Anthony Burulcich--kicks off the 40-city outing Sept. 11 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will remain on the road through early November..
The video for the band's debut single, "An Honest Mistake," was nominated for the MTV2 Award at this week's MTV Video Music Awards in Miami, but The Bravery lost out to Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Goin' Down."
Maximo Park , International Noise Conspiracy and VHS or Beta will serve as opening acts. Maximo Park is supporting "Apply Some Pressure," a top 20 record in the band's home country of the United Kingdom.
On Sept. 20, Louisville, KY's VHS or Beta will re-release its debut CD, "Le Funk," with bonus remixes of the song "Solid Gold" by Bob Mould, Freaky Chakra and Joshua IZ.
International Noise Conspiracy is touring in support of "Armed Love," set for release Oct. 4.
