
Story of the Year will preview its forthcoming album, "In the Wake of Domination," with a North American tour that will also feature Funeral for a Friend , Anberlin and He is Legend.
The four bands will visit mostly 1,000-person-capacity clubs between Sept. 22 and Oct. 16.
Fans can get a sneak preview of songs from "In the Wake of Domination" on Story of the Year's MySpace webpage. The new song "Our Time is Now" is currently streaming at the site, and the album's first single, "We Don't Care Anymore," is slated to be next.
According to Story of the Year's website, the "In the Wake of Domination" is heavier and more guitar driven than the group's debut. The new release was produced by Steve Evetts. who has turned the knobs for The Cure, Hatebreed, Saves the Day, and Dillinger Escape Plan.
Story of the Year played the Warped Tour's main stage Aug. 3-15, and will be one of the headliners on the 2005 International Taste of Chaos tour, which visits Australia, Japan, the U. K. and Germany in October and November.
Funeral for a Friend is pushing the release of "Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation," which is available with a bonus DVD featuring six of the band's promo videos--"Juneau," "She Drove Me to Daytime Television," "Escape Artists Never Die," "Bullet Theory," "You Want Romance?" and "Juneau."
He is Legend recently released "I Am Hollywood," while Anberlin is promoting "Never Take Friend Personal."
