Gov't Mule and Moe. jam down the West Coast

Gov't Mule and Moe. keep up their relentless touring in October with a co-headlining tour of the West Coast. The trek gets underway Oct. 12 with two dates at Portland, OR's Roseland Theater.

The acts will come together following a couple of high-profile September gigs. Moe. starts the month with its annual 3-day music and camping fest at Snow Ridge Ski Mountain in New York. The band, playing all three days of Moe.Down 6 (Sept. 2-4), has put together a diverse roster of artists, including Keller Williams; Medeski, Martin and Wood; The Violent Femmes; North Mississippi Allstars and Matisyahu.

Gov't Mule joins co-headliner Moe. following a Sept. 23 appearance at the annual Austin City Limits festival in Texas. The always-eclectic ACL line-up includes Coldplay, Oasis, The Black Crowes, Wilco, Jet, Death Cab for Cutie, Bob Mould Band, Blues Traveler, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, Jason Mraz and many others.

During their co-headlining tour, Gov't Mule and Moe. will play full sets at theaters and large clubs including the historic Showbox in Seattle, the venerable Warfield in San Francisco and the new House of Blues in San Diego.

Gov't Mule wraps the month with a Halloween weekend appearance at the first Vegoose festival in Las Vegas. Vegoose is the brainchild of A.C. Entertainment and Superfly Presents, the organizers behind the successful Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee. Many Bonnaroo veterans are playing Vegoose including Dave Matthews and Friends, Jack Johnson and Widespread Panic.
