Another batch of shows have been confirmed for the upcoming co-headlining tour featuring fellow alt-rock mainstays Foo Fighters and Weezer , and additional dates are in the works.
Seven new October shows--in Champaign, IL; Detroit; Cleveland; Fairfax; Philadelphia; E. Rutherford, NJ; and Oakland, CA--are the latest additions to the outing. Ticket on-sale information, culled from the Weezer and Foo Fighters websites, is below.
More dates will be announced. Last month, the Foo Fighters' publicist said the tour is also expected to touch down in Grand Rapids, MI; Baltimore; Worcester, MA; Fresno, CA; and Portland, OR.
Foo Fighters released their fifth album, the two-disc set "In Your Honor," in June. Disc One features hard-edged rockers, while Disc Two largely houses acoustic tracks.
Weezer is backing its new LP, "Make Believe," which hit stores in May and debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
Foo Fighters recently completed a brief Canadian tour. Weezer, meanwhile, wrapped up a three-week North American tour at Lollapalooza in Chicago last month.
