Liz Phair to mount fall tour behind new album

With her summer tour now nearing its end, singer/songwriter Liz Phair is looking ahead to October, when she'll offer up a new album and kick off a fall tour to back the release.

Titled "Somebody's Miracle," Phair's latest studio collection is due in stores Oct. 4, and features the cut "Everything to Me," which is streaming at her website.

Phair, who wrote the new album's 14 tracks, recorded the set at the Village Studios in Los Angeles with co-producers John Shanks (Sheryl Crow, Chris Isaak) and John Algaia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer).

Two days after "Somebody's Miracle" surfaces, Phair launches a headlining run in Ft. Lauderdale. The itinerary--which so far stretches into mid-November--is included below.

Phair has been giving fans an early listen to material from "Somebody's Miracle" during her current acoustic tour, which wraps up next week with a three-night stand in Chicago.
