50 Cent 's sophomore release, "The Massacre," will be reissued Sept. 6 with a previously unreleased remix of the track "Outta Control" (featuring Mobb Deep), as well as videos for each of the disc's 21 tracks.
"I'm the king of originality," 50 Cent said in a press release. "No artist has ever done this before. The videos allow consumers to see exactly what I was thinking about when I made the music."
The original version of "The Massacre" has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide, according to Interscope/G-Unit Records.
The inaugural Amsterjam festival, set for Aug. 20 at New York's Randall's Island, will feature performances by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg , Garbage, Wyclef Jean, Grandmaster Flash, 311, Fat Joe and others.
President George W. Bush signed legislation earlier this month changing the name of a post office located near downtown Los Angeles to the Ray Charles Post Office Building. A re-naming ceremony will take place later this month.
Charles died of complications from acute liver disease in June of 2004. He was 73.
"Oh No," the sophomore release from rockers OK Go , hits stores Aug. 30. A headlining tour in support of the set gets underway in mid-August.
