By the time their third album hits stores in late September, rockers Disturbed will have finished a coast-to-coast tour designed to help launch the set.
Titled "Ten Thousand Fists," the new disc is scheduled for release on Sept. 20, just a few days after the conclusion of a six-week run through North America that launches in early August. The itinerary is included below.
The band also plans to tour Europe in October, headline the Jaegermeister Music Tour from November through January, and head up its third Music as a Weapon tour in early 2006, according to its website. Dates and additional acts for those outings have not yet been announced.
"Ten Thousand Fists" is the follow-up to 2002's "Believe," which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart. "Guarded," the first cut off the new set, is currently available exclusively via Apple's iTunes Music Store.
Though "Guarded" is now in circulation, the album's first official single, titled "Stricken," is due to hit radio stations later this month. A video shoot for the cut is scheduled for this month, as well, according to the band's website.
The new album's title track, meanwhile, will appear in Electronic Arts' forthcoming "Madden 2006" football video game.
