Lucinda Williams piles on more tour dates

Lucinda Williams released a live album and DVD last month, but many U.S. fans will get a chance to see her perform in person over the coming weeks.

The singer/songwriter, who has been on the road since mid-June, is now set to remain on tour through August. She'll also appear at September's Austin City Limits festival; details are in the itinerary below.

Williams' latest release is "Live @ the Fillmore," a two-disc set that houses 22 songs she recorded during an early 2004, three-night stand at the famous San Francisco venue. The DVD "Live from Austin, TX," which captures Williams' Dec. 5, 1998 performance for Austin City Limits, is also in stores now.

Williams' most recent studio set is 2003's "World Without Tears," which was produced by Mark Howard (Bob Dylan, U2). The album received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Folk Album, and its single "Righteously" was nominated for Best Female Rock Performance.
