
Montreal is the latest addition to The Rolling Stones ' North American tour itinerary, and strong initial ticket sales have led to a second show for Philadelphia.
The Montreal stop--set for Jan. 10 at the Bell Centre--is only the second confirmed show for the tour's second North American leg. Tickets go on sale Saturday (6/18).
The Stones' have also added an Oct. 12 appearance at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center, which comes on the heels of the band's previously scheduled Oct. 10 concert at the venue. Tickets for the newly announced show hit the market Monday (6/20).
Meanwhile, promoters have announced that tickets for the Stones' Sept. 24 gig at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH, are scheduled to hit the market on Friday (6/17).
Before tickets go on sale to the general public, pre-sales tickets will be available to members of the Stones' online fan club. Details are available at the group's website.
The first leg of the Stones' 2005/2006 tour opens Aug. 21 in Boston, and wraps up Dec. 1 in Houston. Most announced shows have already sold out. More North American shows are in the works for early 2006.
Aside from North America, the Stones' trek is expected touch down in Mexico, South America and the Far East (possibly including the band's first-ever performances in mainland China). The outing will end in Europe during the summer of 2006.
