Elton John books more U.S. concerts, 'Red Piano' dates

Elton John has unveiled plans for more U.S. tour dates this fall, and has also locked in additional performances for his ongoing Las Vegas residency.

John's schedule now includes a number of new September, October and November U.S. shows, as well as new July and October runs of Vegas production, dubbed "The Red Piano." Details are shown below.

As previously reported, John's summer plans also include a Fourth of July headlining performance at the "Philadelphia Freedom Concert & Ball," a benefit that aims to raise $2 million for HIV/AIDS awareness. Bryan Adams and Patti Labelle recently signed on to appear at the event, according to John's website.

John continues to back last year's "Peachtree Road." The set, which is the 43rd album of his three-decade-plus career, debuted at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 album chart.

Next month, "Billy Elliot the Musical"--a stage adaptation of the film--is scheduled to premiere in London. The production features original music by John.

Plans are in the works to re-release in the U.K. next month a new version of "Peachtree Road" that will include several songs featured in "Billy Elliot the Musical," according to John's website.
