The String Cheese Incident tops the bill of this summer's "Big Summer Classic" tour, a run that will also feature Keller Williams , Michael Franti & Spearhead , Yonder Mountain String Band , Umphrey's McGee and Monsoon.
The July trek kicks off with a two-night stand at Colorado's famed Red Rocks, and touches down in 14 cities. Details are shown below.
Tickets for all shows will go on sale April 20 via BaselineTicketing.com, according to a press release.
Though New Monsoon will open each show and The String Cheese Incident will close each show, the lineup for the other bands will change each day; details will be posted at the tour's official website.
In addition to the musical performances, organizers are also planning interactive booths, vendors and other attractions.
The String Cheese Incident plans to release its fifth studio album, "One Step Closer," on June 28. The group--which recorded the set with producer Malcom Burn (Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris) at a private Boulder, CO, studio--will issue the release via its SCI Fidelity label.
