50 Cent will miss the tour's first two stops because of a scheduling conflict; he'll be tied up shooting his film debut. Fellow chart-topping rapper Ludacris [ tickets ] will fill in on those dates, according to Interscope Records.

The outing marks Eminem's initial roadwork behind last year's "Encore," which is approaching U.S. sales of 5 million copies, according to a press release. Released in mid-November, the album was the No. 3 top-selling set of 2004.

"We've been waiting for the right moment to go on tour, and it all finally came together," Eminem said in a statement. "We wanted to put together the best lineup we could ... I'm always trying to top the last tour whenever I go out. I think we're really doing it this time."

"Whenever I get together with Em you know it's going to be hot," 50 Cent added. "Right now, I don't see anything that will stop this from being the tour of the summer. You better put in for that time off from the job now, before somebody else beats you to it. Or quit your job so you can see every show."

Fans who can't catch the tour in person will be able to sample the experience on Eminem's Sirius Satellite Radio channel, dubbed Shade 45, which will feature tour coverage, exclusive live performances and backstage interviews, according to a press release.

In related news, a DVD filmed during 2002's "Anger Management" tour is due in stores this summer. The set features live performances from Eminem and D-12.

Originally targeted at both rap and rock fans, the first "Anger Management" outing took place in 2000, and featured headliners Limp Bizkit. Eminem, Papa Roach and Xzibit were on board for the first half of the outing, after which DMX, Godsmack and Sinistar took over.

Eminem, Papa Roach and Xzibit returned for the tour's second edition in 2002, which also featured Ludacris and X-ecutioners.
