That's what every tour should be, but sadly these days it's not, so us and Simple Plan are trying to give that to the kids."

Good Charlotte is backing its October release, "The Chronicles of Life & Death," which features the cuts "Predictable," "I Just Wanna Live" and "We Believe. The set follows 2002's double-platinum "The Young and the Hopeless."

Simple Plan's sophomore album, "Still Not Getting Any ...," also surfaced last October. Produced by famed producer Bob Rock (Metallica), the set has spawned the hits "Welcome to My Life" and "Shut Up."

Relient K [ tickets ], the tour's lone support act, is touring behind its latest set, last November's "Mmhmm."
