Taking Back Sunday, Jimmy Eat World float dates for tour

The itinerary is taking shape for this spring's Taking Back Sunday and Jimmy Eat World co-headlining tour.

In addition to the previously announced April 10 kick-off in Champaign, IL, the schedule now includes a half-dozen subsequent April shows that focus on the Midwest and Northeast, as well as a pair of May stops in California. Details are shown below.

More dates for the planned five-week outing are expected.

Jimmy Eat World is backing its fourth album, "Futures," which surfaced in October. The group hit the road shortly after the album landed in stores, and is planning to spend two-and-a-half years on tour, according to a press release.

"Futures" is the follow-up to Jimmy Eat World's self-titled, 2001, breakthrough album. The new set features the cut "Pain," the music video for which is streaming at Jimmy Eat World's website.

Taking Back Sunday is supporting its sophomore album, "Where You Want to Be," which hit shelves last July. The set--which follows 2002's "Tell All Your Friends"--debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart.

Taking Back Sunday's website is streaming the music video for the "Where You Want to Be" cut "This Photograph is Proof (I Know You)."
