Las Vegas rockers The Killers are set to embark on a new batch of North American club and theater dates this spring.
The trek--in support of the band's platinum-certified debut, "Hot Fuss"-- launches April 11 in Phoenix, and so far is scheduled to touch down in 20 cities. The North American outing follows the band's current overseas tour, which runs through March 10.
The Killers broke through in the U.S. a year ago on the strength of the single "Somebody Told Me," as well as dates in support of Morrissey.
Despite their Sin City origins, The Killers first got signed in the U.K. by the indie label Lizard King, which issued the cut "Mr. Brightside" in 2003. That single was the catalyst for a U.K. tour, followed by an appearance at the CMJ Music Festival in New York that led to the group's deal with Island Records.
