Jimmy Eat World, Taking Back Sunday to mount joint tour

Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday have given their fans one more reason to look forward to the spring by announcing plans for a co-headlining tour.

The five-week run kicks off April 10 in Champaign, IL; at press time, the group's label had announced additional cities where the tour will touch down, but venues for most and dates for all were still pending. Details are shown below.

Jimmy Eat World is backing its fourth album, "Futures," which surfaced in October. The group hit the road shortly after the album landed in stores, and is planning to spend two-and-a-half years on tour, according to a press release.

"Futures" is the follow-up to Jimmy Eat World's self-titled 2001 breakthrough album. The new set features the cut "Pain," the music video for which is streaming at Jimmy Eat World's website.

Taking Back Sunday continues to back its sophomore album, "Where You Want to Be," which the group issued last July. The set--which follows the band's 2002 debut, "Tell All Your Friends"--debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 album chart.

Taking Back Sunday's website is streaming the music video for the "Where You Want to Be" cut "This Photograph is Proof (I Know You)."
