Keith Urban, Montgomery Gentry, others to appear at CMA Festival

Rascal Flatts , Gretchen Wilson , Keith Urban , Jo Dee Messina and Montgomery Gentry are among the artists slated to appear this year's CMA Music Festival.

Other artists confirmed for the event include Trace Adkins, Steve Azar, Dierks Bentley, Big & Rich, Brad Cotter, Cowboy Troy, Billy Currington, Josh Gracin, The Jenkins, Jon Randall, Julie Roberts, Trick Pony, Phil Vassar, Jimmy Wayne, Mark Wills, Darryl Worley and Michelle Wright.

The four-day festival is scheduled to take place June 9-12 in venues throughout downtown Nashville, and will feature "30 hours of autograph signings, 70 hours of live music, more than 200 country music artists and celebrities, and more than 130,000 fans," according to a press release.

"CMA Music Festival is such a great event to be involved with," Vassar said in a statement. "We have the best fans in the world and to have them all in one place and feel the energy and excitement is pretty amazing. I'm proud to be participating again this year."

The CMA Music Festival originally began in 1972 as a fan-appreciation event dubbed Fan Fair, which is still part of the now-larger festival. This year's Fan Fair will take place at the Nashville Convention Center. There, fans will have a chance to meet, receive autographs from and pose for pictures with various artists.

Details about the CMA Music Festival, including ticketing information, is available at the event's website.
