Country stars Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley , along with special guest Terri Clark , join forces this spring for the "Two Hats and a Redhead Tour," an outing that gets underway April 15 in Virginia Beach, VA.
The jaunt--which will feature Joe Nichols in place of Terri Clark on the first three stops--will touch down in more than two dozen cities over two months. Cities and dates are in the itinerary below; venues hadn't been confirmed at press time. Tickets will hit the box office in many markets on Saturday (1/29), according to a press release.
"The two things I love most about touring are getting to perform my music live for the fans, and sharing the stage with friends," McEntire said in a statement. "Brad and Terri are each great performers and great friends."
McEntire, Paisley and Clark have nearly 50 No. 1 country singles between them.
"I'm a huge Reba McEntire fan and so many of my musical influences have toured with Reba throughout the years," Paisley said in a statement. "Now to have the same opportunity is very exciting for me. On top of that, being surrounded by Reba and Terri Clark will make me the envy of many, many, many, many men."
Said Canuck Clark: "Having been an avid Reba McEntire fan club member as a teenager, to put it into Canadian terms, I would compare this to a rookie hockey player getting to play a season on the same team with Wayne Gretzky."
McEntire released her 28th CD, "Room to Breathe," in 2003, and followed it in 2004 with her first tour in three years. She was one of country music's most reliable concert draws before she stopped touring to dedicate her efforts to "Reba," a sitcom that debuted on the WB television network four years ago.
Paisley, a five-time CMA winner, is supporting his double-platinum 2004 album, "Mud on the Tires," which is his third consecutive album to sell more than a million copies.
Clark, who broke out with her 1995 set, "Better Things To Do," also has three platinum albums under her belt. Among her hits were "Easy on the Eyes," "When Boy Meets Girl," "I Wanna Do It All," "Poor Poor Pitiful Me" and "Girls Lie Too."
