After embarking on a weeklong cruise with fans next week, Big Head Todd & The Monsters will dig into a winter tour schedule that continues to grow.
The group has added a number of February and March dates to its itinerary, including stops in Chicago, Cleveland, New York City and Philadelphia and the Los Angeles area.
Book-ending the bulk of the group's shows is a late-January two-night stand in Nevada, and a late April performance in Phoenix. Details are shown in the itinerary below.
The shows on dry land follow the band's Jan. 9-16 engagement aboard the Big Caribbean Cruise, a fan-oriented excursion that will feature a meet and greet with the group and a private concert for passengers. More information is available at the Big Caribbean Cruise website.
Big Head Todd & The Monsters' most recent studio set is "Crimes of Passion," which surfaced last February. That album followed 2003's "Riviera," which marked the group's first new studio release in five years.
In August of 2004, the band issued "Big Head Todd & The Monsters Live at the Fillmore," recorded during the group's March 19 and 20, 2004 shows at the famous San Francisco venue. Footage from the release is currently featured in Frontier Airlines' in-flight television programming, according to the band's website.
