With a new DVD now in stores on the heels of her self-titled, sophomore album, teen actress and singer Hilary Duff is shoring up her winter tour plans.
After wrapping up 2004 with appearances at holiday-themed radio-station festivals, Duff returns to the road in January for an extensive round of touring in Canada, which she'll follow with a series of U.S. dates. Her confirmed itinerary at press time is shown below; more 2005 dates are expected.
In November, Duff issued "Learning to Fly," a DVD that features her "Fly" music video and a documentary about the making of the clip. The cut is the lead-off track from Duff's latest album, which surfaced in late September and debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart.
"Hilary Duff" is the follow-up to Duff's solo debut, last year's "Metamorphosis," which is certified triple platinum, signifying U.S. shipment of 3 million copies.
Duff appears in two romantic comedies that were released in 2004: "A Cinderella Story" and "Raise Your Voice." She recently completed the filming of "The Perfect Man," which is expected to hit theaters in 2005.
