Montgomery Gentry and Trace Adkins team for 2005 tour

Country duo Montgomery Gentry and fellow country artist Trace Adkins tackle the road during a U.S. tour that is set to take place early next year.

Dubbed the Turn It Up & Bring It On tour, the outing kicks off at the beginning of February, and dates stretch into late April. About 20 stops are planned so far, with more dates to be added, according to organizers.

Seating for each show will be general admission on the floor, and reserved seating elsewhere, according to a press release.

"Right there on the floor is where I always like to be," Eddie Montgomery said in a statement. "That's where the party really happens."

"Who knows, we may end up down there with them," added Troy Lee Gentry.

Montgomery Gentry is touring behind its May release, "You Do Your Thing," which features the duo's first No.1 single, "If You Ever Stop Loving Me."

Adkins is backing his latest set, "Comin' On Strong," which surfaced a year ago. A new studio album is in the works for the spring, according to his publicist.
