
Ozzy Osbourne told the press gathered at the MTV Europe Awards in Rome that there won't be any more new seasons of "The Osbournes," the MTV reality show starring his family.
According to NME.com, Osbourne said: "At the end of it I didn't like having cameras around the house all the time. When you watch a 25-minute episode, I've been filming all day."
Producer, composer and songwriter Terry Melcher , known for his groundbreaking production work for The Byrds and as the co-writer of The Beach Boys' 1988 hit, "Kokomo," died of cancer on Friday (11/19), the Associated Press reported. Melcher, the son of Doris Day, was 62.
Reel-to-reel tapes featuring alternate takes of Elvis Presley 's "All Shook Up," "Jailhouse Rock" and some Christmas recordings will be auctioned by Bonhams and Butterfields in Los Angeles on Sunday (11/28), according to the auction house. The tapes are valued at $30,000 to $50,000.
Also up for auction will be the suits worn by The Beatles for their "Please Please Me" album cover.
The soundtrack for the upcoming Stubbs the Zombie video game, set for a cross-platform release on Xbox, PC and Mac next summer, will hit stores on March 15. It features tracks by The Flaming Lips , Death Cab for Cutie, Ben Kweller, The Walkmen, The Raveonettes, Cake, The Dandy Warhols, Phantom Planet, Clem Snide and others.
