Seattle rockers Queensryche have added more dates to their early 2005 evening-with tour, during which the group will perform its 1988 concept album, "Operation Mindcrime," and will give fans a preview of the set's forthcoming follow-up.
The itinerary now includes January stops in Wisconsin and Michigan, as well as February stops in New York, Philadelphia and Hartford, CT. Details are shown below.
Each night's show will be split into two halves, with the first half featuring hits culled from throughout the group's career, and the second half featuring "Operation: Mindcrime."
The "Operation:Mindcrime" production will include live actors who will portray the album's various characters, as well as new and expanded video footage not used when the band last performed "Operation:Mindcrime" during its 1990-91 tour, according to a press release.
The show's finale will include a preview of new material due to appear on next year's "Operation:Mindcrime II," which the group plans to continue working on following the tour's mid-February conclusion. A fall 2005 release is planned.
