Briefly: Ozzfest, Jadakiss, Twista, Jeffrey Osborne, Chaka Khan

The final stop on the Ozzy Osbourne-led Ozzfest tour, which was to take place Saturday (9/4) at Sound Advice Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL, has been canceled due to the approach of Hurricane Francis.

According to a press release, ticket refunds will be available at the original point of purchase; tickets purchased with a credit card online or by phone through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. (Ticketmaster is liveDaily's parent company.)

The Sound Advice Amphitheatre box office will be closed until Tuesday (9/7).

Other canceled or postponed Florida concerts include the Hip-Hop Explosion featuring Jadakiss and Twista at the University of Miami Convocation Center (which has been rescheduled for Oct. 9); and Jeffrey Osborne 's Saturday (9/4) performance at Miami's Knight Center.

Many other Labor Day weekend events will likely be impacted by the storm, so ticket-holders should check with local venues before traveling.

R&B singer Chaka Khan 's publicist issued a statement this week that said the artists out-of-tune performance with Kanye West at Sunday's (8/29) MTV Video Music Awards was due to strained vocal chords.

According to the statement, Khan strained her voice during recent recording sessions, and she canceled a show last week in Utah. Khan was under doctors' orders not to record, but she "received a cortisone shot just hours prior to her VMA performance to honor her commitment to Kanye West," the statement said.
