New Age artist Yanni , who played about 50 North American concerts this spring, will return to the road for another round of arena dates in November.
The keyboardist/arranger is so far scheduled to be on the road for about five weeks, and more shows are in the works for 2005, according to his official website.
Tickets for most shows will go on sale to the general public on Sept. 10, but pre-sale tickets will be available to members of Yanni's fan club, according to the site.
In 2003, Yanni's 60-plus date North American tour grossed $24.8 million, ranking at No. 24 on concert publication Pollstar's year-end list of top tours.
Yanni is a Greek native--and a naturalized U.S. citizen--who graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in psychology before embarking on his musical career.
PBS, which has long been a core outlet for Yanni's work, premiered "Yanni's Visions of Greece" in June. The one-hour program interwove his memories of his homeland with his music and aerial footage of the Greek landscape.
Yanni's latest album, "Ethnicity," was issued in February 2003. The set debuted at No. 1 on the New Age charts.
