Before shacking up to begin work on their fifth album, Deftones take a quick swing on the U.S. club circuit.
The run, which is booked primarily into House of Blues clubs, kicks off in late September and currently runs through mid-October. Details are shown below.
Following the outing, the group will head into the studio to record the follow-up to its self-titled 2003 release. Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, KISS, Nine Inch Nails) is slated to produce the set. No release date has been announced.
"Deftones" debuted at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 album chart, and is certified gold, which signifies U.S. shipment of 500,000 copies. "White Pony," the Sacramento-based group's 2000 release, has sold more than a million copies to date.
